Four years ago in July of this year,
the Authentic Living Show aired its first show, interviewing James Redfield on
the topic of Waking Up. Since that time, the show has served as a wake-up call
for thousands of people around the world. Andrea Mathews, the show’s host, intended from the very beginning, to offer listeners a clear pathway to the Authentic Self. The show is based on her 2007 book, Restoring My Soul: A Workbook for Finding and Living The Authentic Self. And just like that book, the show means to stir the imagination of its listeners to respond to the calling from the Authentic Self to live a full and meaningful life.
With that goal in mind, she has interviewed some of the
world’s most profound and prolific spiritual leaders, bestselling authors and

So, on Wednesday, May 16 2012, Mathews will air her 200th Episode, on which she will interview Carol Kline, author of the book Streetwise Spirituality. This show, like many others offered on the series, will promote down-to-earth, practical and yet powerfully awakening information, which listeners can use to make a real life in real time from real truth. Sometimes, Mathews’ shows are controversial because as she puts it, “So much of what we are currently hearing in the New Age/New Thought movement amounts to magical thinking. What that does,” she says, “is make people who could really benefit from a deepening consciousness, steer clear of it. I want to bring sanity back to spirituality, which is why I bring people like Kline to the show.”
Mathews is a psychotherapist, speaker and the author of three books, Restoring My Soul (2007), mentioned above; The Law Of Attraction: The Soul’s Answer To Why It Isn’t Working And How It Can (2011, John Hunt Publishing imprint, O-Books), and coming out later this year also by John Hunt Publishing, Inhabiting Heaven Now: The Answer to Every Moral Dilemma Ever Posed. She has published several articles in spiritual and informational magazines around the world, as well as several poems in literary magazines; and has served as the Editor of two small literary presses.
